Alex's pledge

I had to include this video of Alex. It is one of our favorites and records his sweet voice at age four. We had no idea that he knew the pledge until he began to say it one morning. I HAD to capture it on video!

More of our girl

After bath time, Lissy lounges in the original duck towel. Tanner and Alex have similar pictures with the same towel. Love our bubbly smiles, too!

Fathers Day surprise

What a surprise Daddy had on Father's Day when his boys came out dressed in his Father's Day new clothes! They thought it was SO funny!

Vacation Bible School

Tanner and Alex attended VBS all week. It was a small group to go along with our small church, and the games, teachings and fun were unbeatable. I'm so proud of these two boys and what they are learning about our amazing God. It is the most important thing we can teach them in this world. Tanner had quite the harlem of girls during the week and thoroughly enjoyed the attention.

The camel

This sweet baby camel came down the parade isle and took a rest right behind us. She laid down and let all the kids come and pet her. Her owner literally did take a rest a few feet away and let the crowds take over the camel!

Tanner and sissy

Tanner is the master cook at the house! He is so creative and loves to dress up and play all day long! He also loves his sister so much. He is constantly kissing and hugging and trying to soothe her when she cries. He's a wonderful big brother.

Eagle Days Parade

Alex posed with his water shooter! The last portion of this great parade is a big water fight between the fire fighters and people! It is so fun!

We had friends there who helped to collect the candy and shoot the water guns.

Tanner and his friend Garrett, getting a little wet! It was in the mid 80's, and perfect for a water fight!

The first giggle

We are seeing more and more smiles each day and then the giggle came yesterday. It was the sweetest sound I think I've ever heard. Of course by the time Matt arrived from downstairs with the video camera, she was done.

Can we ever take too many pictures of our sweet Lissy Lue?

She makes me laugh with all the facial expressions that a two month old could have. She gets a preoccupation with the camera when it's on, so she's a bit less animated, but still very cute nonetheless!

Tanner turns 6!

Tanner had a great 6th birthday. We can hardly believe that we have a kindergartner on our hands. He spent the day with his nana and papa enjoying all the special priviledges of a birthday boy, and then returned to us for a family party. He invited his best buddies, Brock and Haydin too! This was the first year that Tanner really enjoyed the attention of his birthday, blowing out candles and opening presents. He is becoming more comfortable with attention as he grows into a confident fun little boy. We are so proud of him. He loved his golf clubs from his grandpa johnson so much that I found him curled upstairs during nap time with the golf clubs set up on the bed next to him! (who sleeps with their clubs??)
